WHO WE ARE
Since 2008, we've worked alongside underserved communities and the organizations supporting them, taking on the deep, structural causes of inequality and injustice, from health equity to entrepreneurship, climate to education.
We work through a network of local designers who facilitate the process by which the people closest to a problem set the terms for solving it, and the measures of success it will be judged by. Our design practice makes the invisible legible: how systems actually work, where they fail, and what people want most. The products, services, and policies that follow are built to last, because the people who will use them defined what lasting means.

Introducing Design with Us!
Design With Us is a resource we built to help clients, partners, and community collaborators better understand our approach to community-led design. We share the tools, reflections, and practices that shape our process, from building trust and navigating uncertainty to making sense of complexity through collaborative decision making.
Alongside practical methods, Design With Us also explores the emotional realities of participatory work, such as aspiration, fear, and ambiguity, and how those feelings can serve as indicators of where care is needed and how stronger partnerships can be built over time.
